Two EE undergraduate students won the Professor Charles K. Kao Student Creativity Awards 2013 organized by CINTEC recently:
Prof. XU, Jian Bin received a grant of HK$600,000 from the Croucher Foundation for an Advanced Study Institute (ASI): “Printed Electronics”.
Prof. Emma MacPherson received a grant of HK$998,200 from the Innovation and Technology Commission of the Government of the HKSAR in sponsorship of her project.
Prof. LEE Tan received a grant of US$154,799 from the National Institutes of Health for his collaborative project with the Northeastern University.
Dr. WANG, Xiao Mu has been awarded the Dean's Outstanding Thesis Award 2012 on PhD thesis titled:
Graphene Interface Engineering: Surface/Substrate Modifications cum Metal Contact Exploration
