Prof. LI, Hongsheng has been awarded the Smart Traffic Fund (STF) project.

Title: AI for Generating High-definition Maps of Hong Kong from Ground-Aerial-Sky Multi-sensor Data

Amount: HKD 7.2M

Prof. ZHAO, Ni won the 2024-25 Research Grants Council (RGC) Senior Research Fellow Scheme (SRFS) in recognition of their distinguished research achievements. She is one of the awardees among the 10 RGC SRFS awardees in Hong Kong.

Professor ZHAO’s research project is “Development of Optical Sensing Technologies for Early Detection and Ambulatory Monitoring of Cardiovascular and Cerebral Diseases”. Each SRFS awardee will be conferred the title “RGC Senior Research Fellow” and receive a fellowship grant of around HK$8.0 million to cover salary costs for relief teachers and support for research project over a period of five years.
