Prof. Steven Gao (the successor of Prof. Christophe Fumeaux) is honored to be the Editor in Chief of AWPL. AWPL and IEEE T-AP are the best Journals in the field of antennas, radio propagation and electromagnetics. AWPL also aims to be one of the fastest Journals among all IEEE publications https://ieeexplore.ieee.org/xpl/aboutJournal.jsp?punumber=7727.

Prof. Lijun Jiang has been awarded the IEEE Hong Kong Section 50th Anniversary Medal (2022) at the Tencon Banquet on Nov. 3rd for his services to IEEE Hong Kong Section.

Awardee of RGC Postdoctoral Fellowship Scheme 2022/23

Dr. TONG Lei, an EE Postdoctoral Fellow in the research group of Prof. XU Jianbin has been recently awarded for the RGC Postdoctoral Fellow 2022/23 (https://www.ugc.edu.hk/eng/rgc/funding_opport/pdfs/awardees.html), which has been established by The Research Grants Council of Hong Kong to encourage doctoral graduates in pursuing career in research and provide promising researchers with support at a pivotal time in their very early career.

Prof. H. K. Tsang has been awarded the IEEE Hong Kong Section 50th Anniversary Distinguished Contribution Award (2022).

The IEEE Hong Kong Section 50th Anniversary Distinguished Contribution Award is to celebrate the establishment of IEEE Hong Kong Section for 50 years. The award was given to several Hong Kong IEEE members who have provided distinguished contributions to increase the knowledge and make advancement of an EEE area, and also make significant contributions to IEEE and IEEE Hong Kong.
