New book published by Professor WANG, William Shi Yuan

Professor WANG, William Shi Yuan, Research Professor of Electronic Engineering, has recently published a new book titled “語言湧現：發展與演化”.

Prof. Wang is a specialist in diverse disciplines. At the Chinese University of Hong Kong, he continues his research on language from an interdisciplinary perspective, involving engineering, linguistics and biological sciences. In recent year, Prof. Wang has collaborated with biologists and computer scientists in a common search for the origin of language and patterns in language differentiation. His publications include numerous articles in technical journals and several encyclopedias, as well as general science magazines. His writings have appeared in Chinese, English, French, German, Italian and Japanese.
