The Department of Electronic Engineering will organize online live event during the CUHK Programme Taster Fair 2021 to help JUPAS applicants and F.4 & F.5 students have a better understanding of our undergraduate programme (JUPAS code: JS4434). Details are as follows:

CUHK EE is co-organizing the STEM Robotics Competition. The junior secondary school group competition was held on March 11. The competitions for primary schools and senior high schools, and the official award ceremony will be held at CUHK on March 25, 2018.

In 1966, Professor Sir Charles Kao published a paper which proposed using glass fibres as a conductor for optic communication. He then travelled around and convinced different scientists to believe into the favourable quality of optical fibres.

Over 30 students, alumni and staff from EE and BME joined the 3-on-3 basketball event on November 18, 2017 (Saturday). There were 6 teams in total. The two teams entering the Final were the team "Lottery" formed jointly by EE PhD and undergraduate students, and the team "OTAs" formed by EE MSc students. The champion went to "Lottery". It was great fun for all the participants. See you all next time!
