General Research Statement

Prof. Max Meng has been very active in research activities characterized by theoretically challenging and practically meaningful projects. His current and previous projects have been supported by various NSERC and industrial grants in Canada, RGC grants in Hong Kong, and NSFC, 863, and 973 grants in China.

Training of highly qualified personnel is always on the top of Prof. Meng's priority list, as reflected in the number and the quality of graduate students he has supervised and is currently supervising. Potential graduate students will find that the Department of Electronic Engineering at the Chinese University of Hong Kong provides one of the best graduate study opportunities in EE in Asia and around the globe.
