The Intelligent Photonics Group, led by Dr. Chaoran Huang, investigates new fronts in computing and intelligent information processing using Photonics. We have broad research interests cutting across silicon photonics and nanophotonics, material engineering, and electronics. We want to leverage concepts from different fields and merge them to solve the grand challenges in computing and unleash a wide range of applications ranging from intelligent sensing and imaging, communications, cybersecurity, and many more.
