Prof. Yixuan YUAN is currently an Associate professor in the Department of Electronic Engineering at the Chinese University of Hong Kong. Her research interest is AI in healthcare to promote precision medicine, emphisizing model explainability, robustness and security. She was a postdoctoral Fellow in Department of Radiation Oncology, Stanford Cancer Center, Stanford University, supervised by Prof. Lei Xing during 2017-2018. She received the B.S. degree in Automation from Northwestern Polytechnical University (NPU), China, the Ph.D. degree in Electronic Engineering from the Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK), advised by Prof. Max Q.-H. Meng with Hong Kong Postgraduate Fellowship (HKPFS). She was a visiting student in Radiology at Stanford University, supervised by Prof. Daniel L. Rubin from 2014 to 2015. During 2010-2012, She conducted research in the lab of pattern recognition and intelligent system in NPU. Her supervisor was Prof. Lei Guo, and she worked closely with Prof. Tianming Liu. She received several premium awards including ICBIR Best Paper Award, CVPR 2022 Best Paper Finalist, MICCAI 2022 Young Scientist Award (supervisor), Outstanding Teacher Award 2018/19 in CityU EE, 2017 Young Scientist Award in Engineering by Hong Kong Institute of Science, Best Paper Award in ICMA 2013, School of Medicine Dean’s Postdoctoral Fellowship at Stanford University. She is ranked Top 2% of Scientists on Stanford List 2021-2024.
