Call for Papers

The IEEE ROBIO 2007 conference will take place from December 15 to 18, 2007 at the Crowne Plaza Sanya in the exotic beach resort Yalong Bay of Sanya, China. The theme of Robio 2007 is “The fusion art of cool machines and living creatures”, reflecting the ever growing interests in research, development and applications in the dynamic and exciting areas of robotics and biomimetics. Yalong Bay, located at the southern tip of the tropic Hainan island, is a world class resort populated by visitors from all over the world, featuring silky blue seawater and fine white sand of unparallel quality, superior world class resort hotels and conference facilities, and beautiful golf courses. ROBIO 2007 promises to be a great event for researchers and scholars in robotics and biomimetics areas, with attractive technical and social programs. The ROBIO 2007 conference invites high quality original research and development papers in all areas related to robotics, biomimetics and related topics.

Contributed Papers: Original papers are solicited in all related areas of robotics and biomimetics. Full papers must be submitted in PDF format prepared strictly following the IEEE PDF Requirements for Creating PDF Documents for the IEEE Xplore®. For detailed format information, please visit the conference website. All accepted papers will be indexed by EI and included in IEEE Xplore®.

Best Paper Competition: All submitted papers will be included in the evaluation for the Best Conference Paper and Best Student Paper Competitions.

Tutorials & Workshops: Proposals for tutorials and workshops addressing new topics in robotics and biomimetics are invited for submission to the T/W Chairs.

Tour Packages: Tourist packages to Sanya/Hainan attractions will be available.
