Airplanes: The conference venue, Shandong University Weihai Academic Exchange Center, can be accessed via both Yantai Laishan Airport (YNT) and Weihai Wendeng Airport (WEH), with similar travel time. Yantai Laishan Airport is recommended as the arriving airport because it has much more scheduled flights from all major cities in China. Yantai Laishan Airport (YNT): 75KM/60 minutes by taxi (RMB220/US$25) to conference venue, with direct flights from many major cities in China. Weihai Wendeng Airport (WEH): 65KM/50 minutes by taxi (RMB180/US$22) to conference venue, with flights from Beijing, Shanghai, and Guangzhou only. The conference will arrange airport pickup services only at Yantai Laishan Airport in the afternoon on August 20, 2006 and shuttle bus services to Yantai Laishan Airport on August 24, 2006.

Weihai Station: 15KM/25 minutes by taxi (RMB65/US$8) to conference venue, with direct train services from Beijing and Jinan only. Yantai Station: 75KM/60 minutes by taxi (RMB220/US$25) to conference venue, with direct train services from many major cities in China. Pickup services are scheduled only at Weihai Station on August 20, 2006.
