Welcome to Max Meng's home page!

 

Max received his Ph.D. degree in Electrical & Computer Engineering at the University of Victoria in Canada in 1992, following his M.Sc. degree in Automatic Control at the Beijing Institute of Technology in Beijing, China in 1988. Max was a Professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Alberta in Canada from April 1994 to August 2004. Currently Max is a Professor in the Department of Electronic Engineering at the Chinese University of Hong Kong. Max is a Fellow of the IEEE.

 

Max's research interests are in the areas of biomedical engineering, medical and surgical robotics, active capsule endoscopy, medical image based automatic diagnosis, interactive tele-medicine and tele-healthcare, bio-sensors and multi-sensor data fusion, bio-MEMS with medical applications, biomedical devices and robotic assistive technologies and prosthetics, adaptive and intelligent systems, and related medical and industrial applications.

 

We are urgently looking for qualified research associates or post-doc fellows in surgical robot manipulator design & development to start immediately.
