Alex K. Y. Wong received the B.S.E. degree in electrical engineering from the University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia, in 2001 and the M. Phil. in electronic engineering from The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK), Hong Kong, in 2007. He is currently working as a Research Assistant in the Department of Electronic Engineering at The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Hong Kong.

In 2001, he joined Wireless Microsystems, Sinking Spring, PA, where he investigated various circuits for wireless transceiver. From 2004 to 2009, he was with the Joint Research Center for Biomedical Engineering, CUHK, working on the miniaturization of heart-rate monitors and the design of mixed-signal front-end for biomedical applications. He has been with the VLSI Laboratory at CUHK since 2009. His recent research focuses on low-power and low-voltage mixed-signal circuits for physiological signal processing.
