B.Ss, M.Eng, (NUST), Ph.D.(Laval)
Fellow of IEEE |
Dr. Ke-Li Wu received his M.Eng degree from Nanjing University of Science and Technology (China) in 1985, and his Ph.D.degree from Laval University (Canada) in 1989.
From 1989 to 1993, he was with the Communications Research Laboratory, McMaster University as a Research Engineer and a research group manager. He
joined the Corporate R&D Division, Com Dev International, Canada in March 1993, where he had been a Principal Member of Technical Staff in charge of
development of advanced electromagnetic design software for various microwave sub-system for communication satellite and wireless communications. Dr. Wu
joined the Dept. of Electronic Engineering, The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) in fall 1999, where he is a Professor and the Director of the Radiofrequency Radiation Research Laboratory (R3L).
Dr. Wu has published widely in the areas of EM modeling and microwave and antenna engineering and holds 8 patents. He was a recipient of URSI Young Scientist Award in 1992, Com Dev's Achievement Award in 1998 and 2008 Asia Pacific Microwave Conference APMC Prize. He served as
an Associate Editor of IEEE Trans. Microwave Theory and Technique from 2006 to 2009. Prof. Wu is consulting to many industry companies and government organizations. He is a member of IEEE MTT Technical sub-committee 8 (Filters and Passive Components). He is a Fellow of IEEE.
Current Research Interests:
Dr. Wu's research focuses on (1) LTCC technology for RF/microwave integrated module, its EM modeling/design methodologies, manufacturability and innovative applications; (2) Electromagnetic numerical modeling in various aspects; (3) Antenna technologies for wireless terminals; and (4) EM analysis and design methodologies for microwave passive components of high performance and microwave sub-system, such as filters, diplexers and multiplexers in space and wireless applications.
