The aim of the 1998 Workshop on Computer Vision is to provide a forum for scholars and researchers in computer vision from Mainland China, Taiwan, Hong Kong, and the outside world. It is also one of the five workshops inside the 1998 Symposium on Image, Speech, Signal Processing and Robotics (ISSPR'98) for celebrating the 35th anniversary of CUHK in 1998. Topics of interest include, but are not limited to, the following:

Authors are invited to submit a camera-ready paper (in English) of no more than 6 pages describing recent results of their research work. The paper should be printed with high-quality printers in double-column format using type size of 11-point. Each copy of the paper should contain the title, abstract and keywords of the paper, names, addresses, fax number, and e-mail addresses of the authors. Unless specified otherwise, correspondence will be directed to the first author listed. THREE hard copies of each paper should be sent to:
