Technical Program

- The technical
presentation at the conference will consist of invited lectures by leading investigators
in the field, and contributions which will take one of two forms: poster or platform.
Mini-symposia and special sessions on state-of-arts of important areas in biomedical
engineering will be organized by leading researchers.

Instructions for Poster Presentations
The poster board will be of 1 m (Length) by 2.4 m (Height). The poster
presenters should prepare a professional style poster of 1 m (length) by 2
m (height) (or smaller) in advance, and mount the posters in lunch break by
1PM of the day where the poster sessions are to be held. A number will be
assigned to each poster board (please see the Final Technical Program for
the number assigned to your presentation). The posters will be on display
from 1PM-5:30PM, and should be removed by 5:30PM in the same day. Unremoved posters after
5:30PM will be discarded. During the time slot specified for the poster sessions, the
presenters should be in front of their posters.
Instructions for Oral Presentations
In each oral session, a slide projector and an OHP projector will be
available. In addition, a computer projector will also be available. The presenters should
load their presenting files by either floppy disks (1.44MB) or CD-ROM (no zip drive will
be available). All presenters in oral sessions should arrive at the session room 10 min
before the start of the session. Presenters who plan to use computer projectors should
arrive at the session room 15 min before the start of the session, and complete loading
their files onto the computer 5 min before the start of the session. All presentation
files will be discarded after the session.

Windows 98 Operating System and Powerpoint/PDF fomat are available. All contents including
figures and texts, etc. should be in English.
