Congress Activities The IEEE-EMBS Asia-Pacific Conference on Biomedical Engineering (APBME'2000) will be held jointly with the Asia-Pacific Congress on Biomedical Engineering in the beautiful city of Hangzhou, China, September 26-28, 2000. The conference venue will be the World Trade Center of Zhejiang, which has high quality facilities required for hosting major international scientific conferences and exhibits. The APBME'2000 will bring together engineers, scientists, physicians, and students working in biomedical engineering and associated disciplines for the purpose of active and direct scientific information exchange. Manufacturers of medical instrumentation and devices are also being invited to exhibit their products and hospital equipment at the APBME'2000. The congress activities will consist of the followings and be conducted in English.
