Celebrating the Proven Impact of 16 CUEE Innovators!

We are proud to announce that 14 faculty members from the Department of Electronic Engineering have been awarded General Research Fund (GRF) grants in the 2026/27 funding exercise, securing more than HK$12 million in research funding. The GRF supports researchers who have achieved, or demonstrate the potential to achieve, excellence in research by supplementing universities’ own research support.

In addition, 2 faculty members have successfully secured funding under the Early Career Scheme (ECS), receiving approximately HK$1.17 million in total. The ECS aims to nurture promising early-career academics and support their development in research and higher education.

Together, these achievements have attracted HK$13.2 million in competitive research funding, underscoring the department’s strong commitment to research excellence, innovation, and impactful scholarship.
