Electronic Engineering is the first undergraduate programme in the Faculty of Engineering at the Chinese University of Hong Kong. It was established in 1970 by Prof. Charles Kao, the former Vice-Chancellor of CUHK and a worldwide renowned scientist who pioneered the use of optical fibers in communication.
Over the past 37 years, we have nourished more than 2,200 graduates. Many of them are now in influential positions in their professions. To have a closer connection with our graduates, the EE alumni have set up the Electronic Engineering Alumni Association. All graduates are cordially invited to be a member of our EE Alumni Association. As a member, you will be informed of any job opportunities and also industrial visits, seminars, conferences or other activities organized by the Association. No membership fee is required.
