簡介  (English Version)

程伯中教授先後于1977年 和1981年 在英國利物浦大學獲得電機工程與電子學學士學位(一等榮譽)和 博士學位。其後由1981年至1982年，他在英國巴夫大學(University of Bath)從 事信號處理和語音編碼之研究。1982年 回港，並任教于當時的香港理工學院。1984年 程伯中教授加入香港中文大學，現為該校電子工程學研究教授及信興高等工程研究所所長。1998年 至2003年， 程伯中教授獲選擔任香港中文大學工程學院院長一職。2004年 至2008年，則被委任為逸夫書院院長。2006年8月至 2014年底，獲委任為大學 副校長。2013年 至2014年， 任香港中文大學深圳研究院院長。2014年至2019年間，他被授予為卓敏電子工程學教授。過去三十年間，程伯中教授積極參與國內外各類學術活動。他曾任英國電機工程師學會理事會會員 及電機及電子工程師學會香港分會主席。1997年 至2000年 底，程伯中教授為IEEE信 號處理雜誌的副主編，2001年 至2003年 則為IEEE信 號處理快報的副主編，1996年 至2004年 出任IEEE信 號處理理論和方法技術委員會的會員。2001年 至2004年， 程伯中教授任<<HKIE 雜 誌>>主編；及 由2001年 起任<<數 據採集與處理>>雜 誌編輯委員會名譽委員。此外，程伯中教授亦曾協助組織多個國際會議，包括1997年 的IEEE電 路和系統國際研討大會，2003及 2016年 舉行的IEEE聲 學、語音和信號處理國際大會。程伯中 教授分別於2000年 及2010年 獲頒IEEE Third Millennium Medal及HKIE Hall of Fame。 除此之外，程伯中教授長期熱心參與社區服務，分別於2010年獲香港特別行政區頒授銅紫荊星章（BBS）及 2017年獲頒授銀紫荊星章（SBS）以示表揚，程教授目前是香港獸醫管理局主席，納米及先進材料研發院有 限公司董事局主席，邵逸夫獎基金會理事會委員，亦同時擔任香港博物館諮詢委員會委員及科學專責委員會主席。2018至2020擔任香港工程科學院主席，2009至2015程教授擔任第一任香港檢測和認證局主席，2010至2017擔任創新及科技督導委員會及諮詢委員會委員，2012至2018擔任為香港應用科技研究院（ASTRI）的董事局成員，2006至2014擔任物流及供應鏈管理應用技術研發中心（LSCM）的董事會成員，2012至2013年 擔任大珠三角商務委員會委 員，2005至2010年 為香港研究資助局學科小組委員，2005至2009年 擔任香港品質保證局董事，2003至2009年為版權審裁署委員，2002至2008年 為機電工程署電氣安全諮詢委員。2000至2006年 期間亦曾擔任消費者委員會的委員 及 香港認可諮詢委員會主席。程伯中教授亦是清華大學、北京郵電大學、華中科技大學、東南大學及中國科學院聲學研究所的客座教授。
